Artist of the Month for November 2022

Raury Deshawn Tullis is a singer, songwriter, and rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. A folk-loving free-spirit since youth, Raury started out as a cover band guitarist in high school. His sights were set on bigger stages, however, and the musician would kick off his 18th birthday with a music bash called “Raurfest”, where he distributed his first digital mixtape, Indigo Child. That alone got him a record deal with his first record label. Since his rise to fame, Raury has received critical acclaim for his inspired, eclectic sound that mixes hip-hop, soul, folk, and indie in a unique blend that earned the artist a spot on the BBC’s Sound of 2015 shortlist. Raury’s music also has appeared in a number of films and television series, including American Honey and the Netflix series Dark. On the inspirational forces behind his unique style, the artist has cited the likes of André 3000, Kid Cudi, and Marvin Gaye.
