After over 20 years of service to the Guardian Angels in Denver, Sally Martinez aka “Apache” and Tom Garcia aka “Ku Kulkan” (which means Feathered Serpent), our veteran Native American members, moved to Tucson, Arizona to retire.
While there they began to see the need for the Guardian Angels in Tucson. They have made inroads and have begun their efforts to help their new city.
In the middle of the second wave of the Pandemic they “Dared To Care” and have returned to active service in organizing a Guardian Angels chapter. They are in the streets recruiting and helping efforts that have now started to shelter in. They deserve our heartfelt thanks for their past service and new Guardian Angels service.
