With Saturday Night Live in repeats last Saturday night, comedian and Cristian Rivera Foundation Committee Member Kenan Thompson took advantage of his night off from the long-running show by dining at the Bronx’s newest Latin restaurant and lounge, Babalu. Thompson and his cousin were spotted at Babalu, located in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx, where they dined on delicious paella dishes prepared by Babalu’s Executive Chef, Celebrity Chef Alex Garcia. Both of them had nothing but great things to say about the food and the ambiance at Babalu.Chef Garcia’s brother, Babalu Chef Rene Garcia even came out to greet Kenan, along with Cristian Rivera Foundation Founder John “Gungie” Rivera (pictured above).
Early Friday morning, a two-lane bridge collapsed in Pittsburgh’s Frick Park, requiring rescuers to rappel nearly 150 feet. Others formed a human chain to help rescue occupants of a dangling bus. The irony is that this comes just hours before President Joe Biden was to visit the city to talk about his $1 trillion infrastructure bill, which includes bridge maintenance.
