This past week, Sofia Vergara has been in Mexico celebrating her 40th birthday with boyfriend, Nick Loeb. Reportedly, Loeb got down on his knee and popped the question. E! News reports that Loeb did pop the question with a ring, but Vergara didn’t say yes. However the couple’s relationship is still stable and Vergara’s ring has been spotted in her recent vacation pictures.
The couple met in 2008 at a Golden Globes party and split ways after “fighting for a long time” in early May. According to US Magazine, despite the couples’ recent rough patch, “All of the family [was] actually really cordial to Nick” during Vergara’s birthday getaway. “Sofia and Nick have been staying in the ultra luxe Presidential Suite . . . it has its own private pool!” On Tuesday night, approximately 100 people including Vergara’s Modern Family costars gathered for Vergara’s beachside birthday bash at the Rosewood Mayakoba resort. There was no mention about the engagement at the event though. Only time will tell if these two are actually going to tie the knot!
