Lady Gaga Continues to Outdo Herself

Never one to be boring, she has gone from an eccentric dance queen to a strange alien-like creature whose looks could frighten even the toughest of characters. So what is her next move? The Mother Monster has partnered up with Barney’s New York to create a Santa’s Workshop in their Madison Ave location. As if thinking about the holidays this early wasn’t scary enough, now Gaga will be taking over the entire floor of the men’s department. In all seriousness, the light-hearted gifts and trinkets will undoubtedly be very popular and make fun presents to give out to a wide variety of fans. She has worked with her friend Nicola Formichetti to design items such as jewelry made out of rock candy, lipstick in special Gaga-inspired colors, hand-painted dark chocolate and even a Rubik’s cube. “There are a lot of things for fans of all ages, for kids and kids at heart,” Barney’s chief executive officer Mark Lee said. “I think our existing and new customers will find fun things to share and give as gifts in a lighthearted and not so serious way.”While this project is a great way to promote her brand, she is also using this opportunity to give back. Gaga has decided to donate 25% of the profits from the workshop to a charity of the artist designing her workshop’s choice. One thing is for sure, Gaga may be a little overexposed, but at least she has a good heart. Now let’s just hope she doesn’t dress up like Santa and ask children to sit on her lap.
