Just 2 days before the new year, the world lost one of its most well-respected, and ground-breaking faces on television. Barbara Walters, one of the first female broadcasters, who played a huge role in helping women to break through the glass ceiling, passed away at 93 years of age. According to Cindi Berger, Walters’ spokesperson, “Barbara Walters passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones.”
