The U.S. House of Representatives charged two Trump aides for criminal contempt in the January 6th attack. Controlled mostly by the Democratic party, the charges were supported in a vote of 220-203. Two Republican representatives, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, also supported the votes of the Democratic party.

Jan. 6 Panel Votes to Hold Steve Bannon in Contempt
A House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection voted unanimously to hold former White House aide Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress after the longtime Trump ally defied a subpoena for documents and testimony.
