In the past couple of months BeReal has gained popularity amongst the younger generation. Just like snapchat and Instagram, BeReal is being used daily, but what makes it different? BeReal is a French app, developed by a former GoPro employee Alexis Berreyat late 2019. The way this app works is simple, you get a BeReal notification, which you’ve got to act on quick because it means that you have 2 minutes to capture your BeReal. Your BeReal consists of two photos taken with both the front and back camera at the same time.
