3 people were shot and killed on Thursday, June. 16 after shots were fired at a small church meeting in a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. The suspect has been reported to be Robert Findlay Smith, 70, who had previously attended some services at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. Police claim that he showed up for a potluck dinner at the church, pulled out a handgun and fatally shot three of the participants.
