American jurist and federal judge for the District of Columbia, Ketanji Brown Jackson has just been nominated to the Supreme Court of the United States by President Biden. In doing so, Biden will be appointing the first Black Woman on the Supreme Court. Jackson served as a United United States District Judge from 2013 to 2021. During her time on the District Court, jurist Jackson expressed multiple decisions against positions of the Trump administration.
