BOONE, N.C. – 15 law-enforcements surrounded a house in Boone, N.C., leading to a 13-hour standoff between them and the suspect inside.The law-enforcements attending the scene included the N.C. State Highway Patrol and the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation. From the standoff, 5 ended up dead, including 2 officers: Watauga County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Ward and K-9 Deputy Logan Fox.
