Breast cancer screening should begin at 40, new guidelines say

Women should be screened for breast cancer every other year starting at age 40, according to a draft guidance by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force issued on Tuesday. The last guidance, from 2016, suggested biennial screenings starting at age 50.

Olivia Newton-John Dies at 73

The Grammy Award-winning actress and singer best known for playing Sandy in “Grease,” Olivia Newton-John, has died at the age of 73 following a battle with breast cancer. John Easterling, Newton-John’s husband, took to her verified Facebook page to confirm his wife’s death. He wrote that Newton-John “passed away peacefully at her ranch in Southern California this morning surrounded by family and friends.”
