Gov. Hochul’s Budget Struggles to Catch Up with NYC’s Expenses
A couple of Tuesdays ago, Governor Kathy Hochul revealed $216 million in improving the state of New York. The focuses she has of these expenses would be in highways, bridges, transits, 100,000 housing units, and the services in public universities. As COVID makes the state lose resources for healthcare services on cancer, regular health, and other things, Hochul intends to expand expenses to provide bonuses for healthcare workers to motivate them to continue working in the medical field. In addition to this. Hochul wants to provide funding to support small businesses, musicals, social programs, and childcare.
