Today the World Cup quarter-finals kicked off with Brazil versus Croatia. Despite many estimates which predicted that Brazil would defeat Croatia and ultimately win the World Cup, Croatia beat Brazil. The game had fans on the edges of their seats as both teams entered overtime without scoring. In the next two fifteen-minute halves of overtime, both teams scored. After a ninety-minute game without a single goal, Neymar scored, presumably thinking he had secured Brazil’s place in the semi-finals.
