The Dallas Cowboys made an unexpected trade acquiring Houston Texans veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks. The Cowboys will receive Cooks for a fifth-round pick in 2023 and a sixth-round pick in 2024. Cooks’ $18 million salary in 2023 is guaranteed. His contract has been restructured so that Houston will pay $6 million of his salary and Dallas will pay the remaining $12 million, according to ESPN. He is under contract until 2024.

Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys Owner Involved in Minor Car Accident
Dallas Cowboys general manager and owner, Jerry Jones, was involved in a minor car accident and was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons Wednesday night. The incident reportedly happened around 8 pm EST near Harry Hines Boulevard and Wolf. Shortly after, emergency vehicles came to help. According to reports, Jones only suffered minor injuries and was sent home soon. There is no indication whether or not the Cowboy’s owner was a passenger or the driver of the vehicle.
