Today in the United States, as if the coronavirus pandemic wasn’t enough crisis for a lifetime, there is another government emergency looming around the corner. Janet Yellen, the U.S. Treasury Secretary, alerted lawmakers that the federal government will run out of money by October 18th unless Congress increases the debt ceiling.
