Taylor Swift collaborated with her folklore and evermore producer Aaron Dessner once again, but this time is for his indie folk band Big Red Machine, which also includes Justin Vernon, the front man of Bon Iver.
Taylor Swift released two masterpieces in 2020: sister folk-pop albums ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore.’ While both are spectacular, I believe that ‘Folklore’ is ultimately a stronger album on the whole. I love ‘Folklore’ because Swift sticks to one genre and music style throughout all seventeen songs (including bonus track ‘The Lakes’) in a way that does not feel dull or overdone.
After her album Evermore made history with a record number of vinyl sales in one week, Taylor Swift released a remix of her hit song “willow” to celebrate. On June 3, Swift announced the remix on Instagram by saying that the “willow (90’s trend remix)” is a “thank you” to her fans after they “did the nicest thing…and broke the record for biggest vinyl sales week… like ever?”
