Over 100,000 Uber documents recently leaked to the Guardian, outlining the illegal activities that the company partook in under the leadership of former CEO and founder Travis Kalanick, from 2013-2017. The rideshare company apparently maintained close relationships with some of the most influential people in the world, from French president Emmanuel Macron to the CEO of Sberbank of Russia, Herman Gref, who is also a close ally of Vladimir Putin.
