Although Serena Willaims hasn’t won a match in a long time, she officially picked up her first victory since the 2021 French open on Monday, beating Nuria Parrizas-Diaz 6-3, 6-4 at the women’s National Bank Open.
Last Wednesday (July 27) Dua Lipa gave a one-hour and a half concert at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, as part of her Future Nostalgia tour. Towards the end of the show, as she was performing Don’t Start Now, someone in the audience fired a series of unauthorized fireworks at the crowded venue. As a result, some fans were injured, as the fireworks were shot into the audience. The singer has issued a statement regarding the incident:
