In a historic win for Las Vegas, The Las Vegas Aces women’s basketball team are the newest recipients of the 2022 WNBA Championship trophy. They are the first major league team to bring a title to Vegas after beating the Connecticut Sun on Sept. 18–and to show its pride, the city held a championship parade for the team on Tuesday. Topping off an already incredible win, Gov. Steve Sisolak even declared Sept. 20 “Las Vegas Aces Day”. Mark that on your calendars, Aces fans!

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez tied the knot last Saturday, July 16th in Las Vegas. The ceremony took place at The Little White Chapel after obtaining a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada. “We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” J-Lo told her fans, referring to her on and off relationship with her now husband Ben Affleck. “Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, and stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”
