On Wednesday, June 1 Michael Louis, 45, shot and killed four people on the second floor of a medical building on the campus of Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The victims were two doctors, a receptionist and mother of two boys, and veteran, family and officials said.

Governor of Colorado, Jared Polis reduced the sentencing for Rogel Aguilera-Mederos by about 100 years. The result will likely be around a five-year sentencing, with another five years on parole. This change in the sentencing was highly praised by many in the general public, who believed that the charges were inappropriate for the situation, but not everyone is satisfied with this decision.
Aguilera-Mederos was charged with vehicular homicide after his breaks allegedly went out on his semitruck during a steep decline, resulting in the dead of four individuals.
