This morning, devastating news emerged regarding the Russia-Ukraine war and Russian missiles that struck the central Ukranian city of Vinnytsia. The attack happened much further west than the majority of Russian attacks so far, considering that Donbas in easter Ukraine, closer to the Russian border, has been the center of the most conflict. While the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that this was not meant to be an attack on civilians, so far 22 people have been recorded dead, with over 50 wounded, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky saying the missile attack was “an open act of terrorism.”
