83-year-old Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, who was appointed to the court by former President Bill Clinton in 1994, has officially retired after serving for 28 years. Replacing Justice Breyer is U.S. federal judge and attorney Ketanji Brown Jackson, who was sworn in this afternoon in Washington, DC. Jackson was appointed by President Joe Biden, and is now officially the first ever African-American woman to serve on the Supreme Court.

Rudy Giuliani Suspended from Practicing Law in Washington D.C.
A Washington D.C. court has suspended the law license for Rudy Giuliani, an attorney of former President Trump, just weeks after New York took similar actions against him. According to the District of Columbia appeals court, Giuliani will remain suspended in the capital until further notice of his pending case in New York.
