Alex Smith (QB), the 2020 NFL Comeback Player of the Year, has retired after 16 seasons in the NFL. Smith was the first player selected in the 2005 NFL draft after playing for the University of Utah in college. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers and had his ups and downs during his tenure there.
