The United States and Israel on Monday launched a massive weeks-long joint military exercise in a message to Iran and China, despite US concerns about Netanyahu’s government. The live-fire exercise, dubbed Juniper Oak 23, is “the most significant exercise between the United States and Israel to date,” one senior US defense official said, citing the enormous number of aircraft and personnel involved.
