This is not a drill: Beyoncé is heading on tour.
On Wednesday, the superstar singer announced her eagerly awaited “Renaissance World Tour” is coming with a post on her verified Instagram account. On her official site, she states that the tour will kick off in Stockholm, Sweden, in May and span Europe before hitting Philadelphia in July. Currently, the tour concludes in New Orleans at Caesars Superdome in September. A tour announcement for Beyoncé’s seventh album, “Renaissance,” was long anticipated by her devoted fan base, the Bey Hive. In 2018, she and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, toured 48 cities across North America and Europe as part of the “On the Run II” tour.
Willow Smith will no longer be performing in Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever” world tour. Smith was supposed to be Eilish’s opening act on 11 of the dates for the North American tour. This would have started February 9th at the Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C. and ran until March 8th. In regards to the situation Smith tweeted, “Due to production limitations, I am unable to put on the show that I believe you all deserve, stay safe, I love you all and I will see you soon!”
Dua Lipa, the three time Grammy award winner and singer of the most streamed song in 2021, visited Stephen Colbert on “The Late Night Show.” There were several great topics touched on during this interview. Lipa asked how Colbert felt about his faith and comedy overlapping. The pair also talked about Lipa’s “Future Nostalgia” World Tour. Then Lipa began reminiscing on how she was in a bikini and cowboy hat when Elton John FaceTimed her to collaborate on the song “Cold Heart.”
