COVID variants may not be the way we want to learn the Greek alphabet, but the sewers of New York City show a new study of a potentially new COVID variant. In “Nature Communications,” a peer-reviewed public journal that researches in different fields of science, connected effects of COVID to the sewage system. Some scientists believe that the rats are the ones who are spreading the new variant in town. There is a particular amino acid that was presented in the new variant that has not yet appeared in humans. The rats may be infected because they touch feces and drink sewage water.
