The 3 Best Vegetarian-Friendly Restaurants in Atlanta

SLUTTY VEGAN

The Slutty Vegan is a vegan hamburger restaurant chain that opened in 2018. Originally, the restaurant began as a shared kitchen then to a food truck to eventually opening a storefront in the Westview Block area. The popular restaurant pours in people from around the world with its unique recipes using the infamous Impossible Burger. The chain has five locations in Metro Atlanta, Birmingahm Alambama, Columbus Georgia, Brooklyn and Harlem in NYC, with more locations to come!

R. THOMAS’ DELUXE GRILL

R. Thomas is a hippie vegetarian-friendly restaurant that was inspired by some “free-spirited souls from San Francisco, non-stop breakfast, and 24-hour heart.” The restaurant is known for its display of exotic birds, friendly-customer service, and wide variety in its menu. R.Thomas is known as the ‘hangout’ spot for the youth as well as older generations creating a vibe welcoming to all.  I’ve had the privilege to dine at this restaurant for years and it is definitely one of my beloved favorites!

CAFE SUNFLOWER

The best part about this restaurant is that it’s right next door to R.Thomas! Cafe Sunflower plant-based restaurant that offers a relaxed environment right in the heart of Atlanta. The restaurant has been open for more than 25 years and voted Atlanta’s best vegan restaurant. This is a great place to check out if you are transitioning to a plant-based diet or interested in tasting something entirely
