The best looks from the 2024 Golden Globes

For the past few decades, the Golden Globes have been held to recognize outstanding performances in films and television during the year. This annual ceremony started in 1944, and presents awards in 27 categories. Worldwide favorites such as Barbie, Oppenheimer, The Eras Tour, and many more were nominated, but only a select few were awarded.

As exhilarating as it is to see our favorite productions receiving the recognition and appreciation they deserve, half of the thrill is found in watching which celebrities attend the event and which ones have the greatest outfits. Bright colors, unique designs, and statement pieces were all flaunted on the red carpet this year. Here are some of the best looks from the 2024 Golden Globes.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is best known for breaking records and changing the world with her powerful music and widespread popularity. However, she managed to outshine herself even more by wearing a beautiful green shimmering gown. She was nominated for “cinematic and box office achievement”, which she ended up losing to Barbie.

Margot Robbie

Recognized for her outstanding performance in Barbie, Margot Robbie decided to stick with the sparkly hot pink look, which was modeled after the signature 1977 Superstar doll Barbie. She wore a pink evening gown with a glittering ruffle boa. Fans can agree that she definitely did Barbie justice with this look.

Timothée Chalamet

Celebrated for his outstanding performance in the film Wonka, Timothée Chalamet graced the spotlight by wearing a sophisticated yet whimsical outfit, much like his muse, Willy Wonka. His all-black sparkly tuxedo jacket took everyones focus away from the fact that Chalamet did not win any awards.

Besides wearing outfits covered in sequins and sparkles, these celebrities all have one thing in common. Whether they won an award or not, they all deserve to be applauded for the performances they gave, and for looking fantastic while doing it.
