“They Both Die At The End” is a Must Read

The book, “They Both Die at the End”, by Adam Silvera is one of those books that completely changed my perspective on life. I highly recommend going in with zero expectations because this beautiful story will have you crying in the end.

In a world where Death-Cast calls to tell you it is your last day, Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio find themselves fighting for a chance to live out their final hours. Living two completely different lives, it seems unlikely that their paths would ever cross. Through Last Friend, they find each other and decide that they are going to live out their last day together. Finding the balance between safety and recklessness, Mateo and Rufus embark on an adventure to ensure that they have the most epic last day.

This book is unexpectedly beautiful in so many ways. This story is so much more than a lesson about love and friendship. It is meant to show us that we need to live every day to the fullest because you do not know when it will be your last. While having dreams is important, it is time to start living in the present because tomorrow is not a guarantee. This book personally taught me that the fear of what could be is getting in the way of what is already in front of me.

If you need a good read, I highly recommend buying this book, and a box of tissues. It has many twists and turns that will keep you hooked from start to finish.
