Víctor Martínez is a former Mr. Olympia runner-up known by his nickname, Dominican Dominator. The 47-year-old is originally from San Francisco de Macrorís, Dominican Republic and competed in his first International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB) in 2001. He first began competing in the Mr. Olympia competition in 2004 where he placed ninth, then in 2005 he placed 5^th, third in 2006 and second in 2007. The same year he was runner-up to Jay Cutler at the Mr. Olympia contest, Martinez took first at the Arnold Classic. 

He also created his own championship in collaboration with the NPC Northeast amateur division called the “Victor Martinez Legends Championship” which includes a variety of classes to compete in.

Most recently, Martinez competed in the 2020 Arnold Classic and took ninth place, soon after the bodybuilder announced his retirement.
