Whitney Houston-Saving All My Love For You

It is tragic that a lot of artists are only truly appreciated after their deaths. Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston being the main examples as sales for their music skyrocketed after they passed away. What is even more tragic is that these artists have given us so much and probably could have given us more had it not been for some bad decisions. I am among many who are guilty of only appreciating something after it is gone. After spending the last week listening to mostly Whitney Houston, it is only now I realize what a truly amazing singer she is. Beautiful, graceful, breathtaking are just some of the adjectives you can use to describe this legend. Her music will live on well past even my generation. So on behalf of music lovers everywhere, Thank You Whitney.

Why We Have to Stop Equating Album Sales to Quality

In the few years I’ve been on this earth there are some things that will always get on my nerves. One of these things, and the topic of this article, is the idea that an album selling a high amount must mean that the album is objectively good. I’ve heard plenty of times before, if go into the comment section of a post that is asking if a certain Drake album is better than another rapper’s, you’ll see a legion of Drake fans saying he sold more so ofc Drake’s is better. I’m here to say that line of thinking is completely wrong.
