If you even have just a passing interest in menswear shows and brand campaigns then you will not have failed to have spotted South Korean model Sumin Kim (aka Xu Meen).

In less than three years, the androgynous beauty went from Model of the Week to Top 50. Xu was originally “discovered” walking down the street by a casting director and made his debut back in 2017. Since then, he has been represented by IMG Models Worldwide and has a portfolio of work that’s the envy of any male model working today.

Despite his ethereal looks, Xu is a very humble guy. He has walked on all of the biggest runways and is a favorite at Balmain. In his career, everything is his favorite and he has learned how to respect multiple cultures through a lot of traveling, work, and meeting random people and situations — “It’s been a fantastic journey since I got scouted, and I appreciate it a lot.”
