Oh, the feels! Google has done it again! This year’s Year in Search has brought tears to everyone’s eyes here at NYCTastemakers and we hope you find the video as touching as we do. Let us be reminded of all the struggles we have overcome this year and do not forget those who have helped us get to here. Our great country has seen its fair share of ups and downs but worry not, for there are better days ahead. They say things get better…I am here to tell you that things do get better. If you think you’re days are dark now just remember the light at the end of the tunnel. Remember all the good times this year has blessed you with, remember all of the people who were able to put a smile on your face, made you laugh, or brought tears of joy to you eyes. Now, more than ever, in a country divided we must remember to respect one another no matter what differences we might have. Wishing everyone a happy, prosperous, and successful new year! Let us welcome 2017 with open arms, an open mind, and an open heart!

Since the first case was detected in Massachusetts on May 18th, this disease has now spread across the country and CDC officials have shared that it may be too late to significantly stop the spread. The Jynneos vaccine, which was developed in 2019 to prevent monkeypox and smallpox, is now being administered in certain areas to those who are over 18 years old and meet certain criteria.
