When we think of someone who could have their face run across a sandpaper belt and still have the smoothest skin in the room, Farid “Freee” Mawanda is the only person that comes to mind. This young man is an up-and-coming Fashion Model bringing the healthcare world into the Fashion industry.

This prideful Ugandan Model is on a mission to make a name for himself within the industry, with goals of walking for Christian Dior.

He has walked in several shows and brought to life various creative projects for photographers in NYC beyond their expectations.

When this 6’1, melanin-enriched man is not walking down the runway/posing for the camera, he is involved in so many other activities. He loves to play piano, read various books, take boxing classes, and is currently on a path to gaining his certificate as a life coach. Farid plans to make this world a brighter place, and we are excited to see what this Renaissance man has in store for the fashion industry as he climbs his way to the top.
