William Sami Étienne Grigahcine aka DJ Snake is a French-Algerian DJ and record producer. Born in Paris, France, Snake began DJing as a teenager and was eventually encouraged by his then newly met manager Steve Goncalves to make his own music.

Snake’s first major success was producing Lady Gaga’s 2011 album  Born This Way. Snake had collaborated with other artists like Kanye West, AlunaGeorge, Duck Sauce, Major Lazer, Junior Senior, Skrillex and more.

He released his debut studio album, Encore in 2016. His single “Let Me Love You ft. Justin Bieber made it to the top five spot on the Billboard Hot 100.  Snake released his second album, Carte Blanche, two years later. His third album, Nomad, is expected to release in September 2025. His music has been some of the most recognizable, dominating the radio and amassing billions of views online.

Snake has been nominated and won a variety of awards including two Billboard Music Awards. With over 1.9 million albums sold globally, Snake is one of the most accomplished DJs in the modern music scene.
