Well-known DJ Unorl Angel Santiago, aka DJ STEELO, was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and raised in Queens, NY. STEELO showed an interest and talent in music and DJing at a young age and began practicing mixing at 15 years old. Steelo began playing at local clubs and by the age of 19, he had performed in nightclubs all over the tri-state area and Long Island.

Steelo’s big break came when he performed at The Legendary CHINA CLUB in Manhattan. The clubs’ then promoter Ruben Rube invited Steelo to be a resident DJ, which he accepted for three years. During his time there, Steelo networked with many people, meeting Club Promoter John “Gungie” Rivera, who invited the DJ to perform at Club NV in Soho, Manhattan. That led to him performing Friday Nights at Club NV with other popular NYC DJs.

Steelo’s skills sent him across the country from Florida, Massachusetts, Puerto Rico, and even overseas to Switzerland.

In addition to Hip-hop, Steelo’s catalog of music contains R&B, Reggae, Latin, Reggeaton, house/dance, and more.
