Not everyone can afford to be subscribed to the many different streaming services that are available in today’s world. Oftentimes, people must pick and choose where they get their entertainment from and how much they are willing to pay to get it. In such cases, one must truly look at what they’re getting and see if it is worth it, which is why I have turned my attention to Apple TV+.
This streaming service has been around since 2019, being widely available in over 100 countries. Despite it not being around for as long as its competitors, it has garnered a ton of attention for the original content it provides. To understand whether a subscription to this service is worth the money, we must look at the content and pricing.
As previously stated, many people have gravitated to the original content that Apple TV+ has. Many of these shows have been praised for being high-tier contenders for the best shows in recent history. “Ted Lasso”, “Severance”, and “The Morning Show” are just three of the fantastic shows that can only be found with Apple TV. The main thing that counteracts this is the lack of quantity the site has compared to Netflix and Hulu, which offer many kinds of genres.
The pricing of the subscription is around $10 a month, which is standard to other sites like it. There are no premium versions of the subscription, but the site is often bundled with the other services Apple provides. Not only that, but purchasers of any Apple device can get a free trial for three months. To me, this seems like the best way to binge all the popular shows and see if you would pay for more.
Overall, I would say that Apple TV+ is worth it for at least a few months. They have new content available every so often, but it’s not enough content to justify a continued subscription beyond that.
