Frankie “Bones” Mitchell is an influential American DJ. Raised in Brooklyn, New York, Mitchell began developing his skills in DJing at the end of high school after the murder of his father, who was a collector of vinyl records.

Bones had his big break performing in England in an event called Energy in the late 80s. Soon after, he would perform in Brooklyn under his own series of events named Storm Rave. Many of Bones’ events were so successful that they are often credited with bringing rave culture to the United States.

Additionally, they led to inspire other rave events, including Berlin’s Love Parade, which was considered to be the largest rave festival in the world at the time. Bones has traveled across the world for various music festivals and parties, and remains active in the scene to this day.
