NYCxDesign Festival, which is an annual, citywide celebration that highlights several events, will be happening on May 14th-20th. The festival will feature design disciplines such as Architecture, Urban Design, and Interior Design, among several others.
The festival opening party happens on May 14th, starting at 6:00 pm at 28 Pine Street, NYC. This even marks the official start of the festival and sets the tone for a week of creativity and innovation. Guests will encounter captivating large-scale installations by kinetic sculptor BREAKFAST, whose mesmerizing, movement-driven works blur the line between art, technology, and spectacle.
With a partnership with Cornell Tech, NYCxDESIGN debuts Future Now, a one-day summit exploring AI’s rapidly expanding influence across the full spectrum of design. Through a blend of keynote presentations, panels, and fireside chats, this session is a must-see. The summit is curated and developed by Will Hall, Chief Transformation Officer at PreSeason.
There will be international spotlights featuring Italian design where you can book out of 4 tours options. Two on May 18th, and two on May 19th. There are also events and showrooms such as Design in Motion, PORADA SHOWROOM, True Over Time and Frette.
NYCxDESIGN is not a single-location event; it is a citywide platform of independently hosted events across studios, showrooms, retail spaces, auditoriums, schools, museums, and public spaces throughout New York City.
