Actor in ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Killed by SUV Driver

Last Monday, December 8th, Wendy Davis, also known by their stage name Wenne Alton Davis, was struck by an SUV driver while crossing an intersection in Midtown Manhattan.

According to the police report, the police responded to a call at 8:54 p.m. on Monday that a resident of Forest Hills, Wendy Davis, had been hit by a black 2023 Cadillac XT6 driven by a 61-year-old man while crossing the intersection at West 53rd Street and Broadway. The driver was not injured in the crash and stayed at the scene and was not arrested as the police are still investigating the situation.

Based on the report, the driver was heading west in the left-hand lane of West 53rd Street and hit Davis while turning left onto Broadway. David received severe trauma to her head and body, according to the police report. She was quickly rushed to the hospital by emergency services. Unfortunately, they were pronounced dead at the Mount Sinai West Hospital.

Wendy Davis was 60 years old when the SUV struck them. They were an accomplished actor who participated in the TV series ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’, Michael Fassbender’s drama ‘Shame’, and the short film ‘Ladies Room’.

Edward Reynoso, a neighbor of Wendy Davis, has given statements regarding her death. “It was so weird to me, because I felt like she was saying goodbye,” they continue, “Now that this happened, it all seems so odd to me.”

Reynoso also gave the following statement: “She always texts me when she is about to leave or come home and I didn’t receive any text or anything and I found it weird,” he continues, “I was worried. I was texting her and she didn’t respond. I’m numb to tell you the truth. I can’t believe it.”
