Alexander Warren Hughes, aka Alex Warren, is a popular American singer-songwriter and YouTuber. Born in Carlsbad, California, Warren began uploading videos on YouTube at 10 years old, primarily based on skateboarding. Three years later, the death of his father would lead to Warren finding his calling in songwriting. Warren continued to post online, eventually gaining enough popularity to co-found the TikTok collective the Hype House in 2019, which further boosted his popularity.

Warren began professionally pursuing music in 2021, releasing his debut single One More I Love You, that June, followed by two more singles that same year. The success of these releases led to Waren signing on with Atlantic Records, releasing his debut single with the label, Headlights, in September 2022. As Warren continued to release music, he would eventually make his first entries onto Billboard charts and the UK Singles Charts. His 2024 single, Burning Down, was his first to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

However, Warren’s biggest success was the release of Ordinary in February 2025. The single struck gold, trending globally on TikTok, and was pushed to further heights after being performed live on Love Is Blind’s season 8 reunion episode. Ordinary topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and other charts globally, including Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The single also led to him being nominated for Best New Artist at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, where he also performed the song.
