Always Be My Baby

by

Small hands in mine
Grow too quickly.
Little lips, now big smiles,
and many memories.

Little curls
To shoulder-length hair—
I wasn’t prepared
For the time slipping by, doesn’t seem fair.

My little love,
My ray of light,
Taught me purpose
Gave me the strength to fight

All that would come our way,
Us against the world!
A small but mighty family,
Fueled by the love of this little girl.

You changed my life
The moment I became your Mommy.
No matter where you go
And how you grow…

You’ll always be my baby girl.
