Anya Martinez (b. 2001, New York) is a dynamic multimedia artist and visual storyteller with a Bachelor
of Arts in Graphic Design and Photography from American University. An alumna of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Martinez has developed a diverse skill set that spans photography, videography, and digital design.

As a Freelance Photographer/Videographer, Martinez specializes in capturing compelling visual
narratives for a variety of clients, including businesses and institutions such as Baruch College, SUNY
Maritime, Miss USA New York, and WE ACT for Environmental Justice. Her work also extends to
independent photo-documentary projects that reflect her passion for visual storytelling and social impact.
Additionally, Martinez gained hands-on experience assisting in professional portrait photography at
LinkedIn Headshots NYC, where she collaborated with businesses and educational organizations to
produce high-quality imagery.

Martinez’s work has been featured in multiple exhibitions, including Arancia at the Chiesa Santa Maria del
Suffragio in Rome, Italy, as well as the 2022 and 2023 American University Design Shows in Washington,
D.C. Known for her strategic thinking, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit, Martinez is committed to
creating meaningful, visually engaging experiences that resonate with audiences and clients alike.
