A Lesson from the Pentagon: Putting Others First

This week, I had the opportunity to visit Washington, D.C. with my family. On our way down from New Jersey, our first stop was the Pentagon—headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense. We took a guided tour of the building, and it was nothing short of eye-opening. The history, architecture, ...

Curiosity, Dreams, and Childlike Energy: What a School Visit in PA Taught Me

I recently had the chance to visit a school in Pennsylvania for an author visit, and it was one of those experiences that leaves a lasting impression on your heart. Walking into that building, I was there to speak to the students—to inspire them, to encourage them, to share a ...

It Might Not Be Your Time… YET!

Have You Learned How to Lose?

As a competitor, there’s something deeply ingrained within you that makes losing unbearable. You hate it. You despise it. The feeling of defeat can sting so sharply that, at times, it might even consume you mentally, emotionally, and physically—though I wouldn’t recommend letting it get to that point. When you ...
