A new Coca-Cola flavor is heading to store shelves in the coming weeks. Coca-Cola Co. revealed on Monday that it plans to release an Orange Cream Coca-Cola flavor due to growing demand amongst its consumer base.
This new addition marks the latest chapter in Coca-Cola’s ongoing efforts to engage customers with innovative flavors. The initiative began in 2022 with the launch of Coca-Cola Creations, a collection of limited-edition sodas. One standout was Coca-Cola Spiced, which included a raspberry flavor introduced last spring, though it was discontinued in September 2024.
The new Orange Cream flavor will have regular and zero-sugar versions. Fans can purchase it in 12 packs of 12-oz bottles and 20-oz bottles when it releases on February 12, 2025, in the U.S. and Canada.
The orange cream flavor has been a beloved classic in the U.S. since it debuted in 1937 with the introduction of the Creamsicle ice cream bar. Its popularity has endured over the decades, inspiring various products, including Wendy’s Orange Dreamsicle Frosty, which was a hit in early 2024.
Consumers eager to try this latest flavor should act quickly, as Orange Cream Coca-Cola will only be available for a limited time. It is expected to remain on shelves at least through the first quarter of 2026.
Fans of Coca-Cola will likely not have to wait long for a new soda flavor. In a 2024 interview with the Associated Press, the brand’s North American marketing chief, Shakir Moin remarked that the company had to speed up the development of its new products due to the market.
“Consumers are moving faster. The market is moving forward faster. We’ve got to be faster than the speed of the market,” he said.
