Bio

Denzel Curry is a popular underground American rapper. Born in Carol City, Florida, Curry began his artistic journey at a young age writing poems and rapping at the age of eleven. Later Curry spent his youth participating in rap battles at his local Boys & Girls Club.
 
Curry got an early start creating mixtapes throughout highschool, inspired by popular rappers like 2Pac and Buju Banton and boosted his popularity thanks to him being affiliated with SpaceGhostPurrp’s rap group Raider Klan.
 
By the time he graduated, Curry began hih solo career with his first debut studio album Nostalgic 64. The success from his debut album release lead Curry to release his first double EP 32 Zel/Planet Shrooms in 2015 followed by his first single Flying Nimbus a year later.
 
In 2016, Curry saw success with his second studio album Imperial, but three years later he got the taste of mainstream attention with his first television appearance On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon promoting his fourth studio album Zuu.
 
Curry has enraptured many fans with his unique hard hitting and rapid-fire lyrics. Over the course of his career he has done well to define himself from the rest of the industry but at the same time remain an active collaborator with other artists like Kid Cudi, Tia Corrine, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, PLAYTHATBOIZAY and more.

A native of San Jose, Willson took piano lessons starting at age six and first began writing songs in her teens. After high school, she briefly attended community college before enrolling at Berklee in Boston, where she majored in Contemporary Writing and Production. After graduating, she relocated to Nashville, where she quickly found songwriting and production work. However, it was her solo work as Ashe that caught the attention of Swedish DJ Ben Phipps, who then invited her to collaborate on the single “Sleep Alone.” The track went viral and helped her land similar work with artists like Shaun Frank, Whethan, and Louis the Child. In 2017, Ashe released her official debut solo single, “Used to It,” followed by The Rabbit Hole EP in 2018. In 2019, she returned with two more EPs, Moral of the Story: Chapter 1 and Moral of the Story: Chapter 2, both of which featured production by Finneas O’Connell. In February 2020, Ashe’s song “Moral of the Story” landed at number five on the Billboard digital charts after it was featured in the hit Netflix series To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You.
