Dodgers Are Stacked for Spring Training

The Los Angeles Dodgers have built a powerhouse roster heading into the 2025 MLB season, and their spring training lineup is a testament to their dominance.

Spring training is the preseason in Major League Baseball, which features a series of practices and exhibition games before the start of the regular season.

The Dodgers may have lost amazing players like Walker Buehler, but with their mix of superstar signings, homegrown talent, and deep pitching staff, they’re entering camp as clear World Series favorites.

The Dodgers made a massive $700 million investment to bring in the two-way superstar Shohei Otani, who dominates on the mound and the plate. Otani’s ability to excel in both pitching and hitting makes him one of the best investments on the team

Blake Snell, the former two-time Cy Young award winner, given annually to the best pitchers in Major League Baseball, was acquired to bolster an already stacked Dodgers rotation. Snell will join veteran ace Clayton Kershaw to form one of the most formidable starting pitching duos in baseball.

The incredible left-hander and future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw continue to dominate the Dodgers pitching staff, adding a significant boost to the team’s pitching strength.

Let’s not forget about Roki Sasaki, the 23-year-old Japanese ‘Monster of the Reiwa Era’ who signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers. With Snell, Kershaw, and Sasaki, the Dodgers have a triple-ace lineup.

Along with the key additions to the team, the Dodgers also have strong returning talents like Gavin Lux, Will Smith, and Julio Urias. In the outfield, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman remain two of the best players in the game with strong offensive power.

With a payroll of around $392 million, the Dodgers assembled a roster that makes them a formidable contender for the 2025 season.
