A video of Doechii about to walk the carpet into the Met Gala has started gaining attention due to the entertainer’s saturn tone when addressing her team. Multiple people are calling her out for being mean and aggressive, some even claiming she’s calling people out their name in the heat of the moment. While the video doesn’t show her calling anyone any names, her tone is assertive and direct, demaiding that her team cover her with umbrellas to shield her from paparazzi.
The video shows Doechii dressed in her Met Gala outfit styled by Louis Vuitton at the front of the elevator when it opens. Immediately, she notices paparazzi in front of her and you can see her scurrying away trying to hide from the cameras. Her crew rolls out a portable changing room on wheels and she directs them to bring her umbrellas to go over the top. It’s here you can hear her telling the staff to bring her more [expletive] umbrellas, starting the rumors of her calling her employees out their names.
While Doechii’s tone wasn’t the sweetest, it matched the stress and frustration she might feel being caught off guard by paparazzi and exposing her outfit before she was ready.
