Emma Raducanu is a British professional tennis player. At only 18 years old, Raducanu is the reigning champion of the U.S. Open and the first British woman to win a Grand Slam singles title since 1977.

Known for her powerful  flat groundstrokes, and aggressive return of serve, Raducanu is the first singles qualifier in the Open Era to win a Grand Slam title. She currently holds the record for the least number of majors played before winning a title.

The Women’s Tennis Association ranked her No.22 in the world and the current No. 1 British. Raducanu is one of the breakout stars in 2021, and it’s only the beginning for the young star.
